Work We Accept

The Crier accepts nonfiction articles about campus activities, student interests, and artwork from both students and faculty. We also now accept flash fiction (stories around 1000 words) and poetry. If students are interested in creating podcasts, videos, or any medium that we typically don’t work with, the option is there as long as we have the necessary equipment. Everything submitted to The Crier is subject to approval.

Please note: All letters submitted to The Crier are subject to editing by the publisher at their discretion. Editing will be done in regards to length, clarity, grammar, libel, and good taste. All entries and podcasts are subject to fact-checking. The existence of this page does not give any letter writer free rein to publish anything that does not meet submission standards. This policy is in keeping with sound and longstanding journalism practices.
